I think this ewer is chinese.

Hi,

Are there any hallmarks, names, etc...? Just by looking at it, I would guess that it could be either Persian or Indian and may have been used for Rose Water. If you find any tiny hallmarks or symbols, please add those. Also, do you know if it is made of silver, tin, brass, bronze or copper. That would help as well. Can you please add a close up picture of the stone or whatever that is multicolored on the piece. It looks really nice!

Marvin: the ewer is 22" high and is textured repousse tin with painted panels; didn't find any marks so far! David.
