Hello, Can anyone give me an approx date on this blue and white hexagonal vase and perhaps ID the mark itself? Any assistance with this query would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! David.

My suggestion: Korean, and within the last forty years.

I also think it’s Korean. Likely a copy/imitation of a fairly rare type of Chosen (Yi) dynasty faceted porcelain bottle vase with underglaze blue decoration of an orchid made in the early eighteenth century. The crackle in the glaze could have been artificially induced to imitate the original. On an original piece the foot would have had a different foot ring with adherent coarse sand and a smear of glaze, rather than being so neatly and thickly glazed. The painting of the orchid also differs from the original.
