Subject:Seal on a small wooden box

Hi experts,
I would very much appreciate to learn what the reading of a chinese(?) seal on a small (9,2 x 7,2 x 2,7 cm) wooden box tells us.
Regards, Gakusei

Thank you very much for reading the characters. But what is the meaning? The only thing what I could guess from these character is that the little box came from Japan and is not of chinese origin.
??Box for japanese playing cards??
hanafuda; Japanese playing cards (12 suits of 4 cards, each suit representing a month indicated by a flower)
Any other opinion is wellcome.

if the first translation is correct, the cypher is saying 'spend a good full moon life'
whatever that means??
I expect however the explanation may be a lot less profound, and is likely a cyclic date.
do a bit of studying of the key characters of the following:

The box itself appears to have genuine age.
