Subject:Cizhou style meiping vase - ??
Posted By: Tom Mon, Oct 10, 2011 IP: 70.108.53.114

I would appreciate any opinions on when and where the vase shown in the accompanying images might have been made. It was originally owned by a person who spent a great deal of time in Asia (mostly southeast Asia and Korea) in the late 60s/early 70s. I suspect it may be an art piece made at about the time he was there, but I've had no luck locating/tracking down anything similar. Thanks in advance.

Design imitate Cizhou style but not made same way as old Cizhou ware.

You are right is modern. Sorry can not read impressed mark.

Enjoy as decoration vase.

Good luck,
Cal
