Posted By: Bill H Mon, Jan 03, 2011 This probably is a 20th century version of a Ming-era Chenghua (1465-1487) 'doucai' (contending colors) chicken cup. The colors and mark substantially differ with those of an original cup illustrated in the Taipei Palace Museum's 1984 catalog of a special exhibition of Chenghua period porcelain. |
