Posted By: Fri, Oct 30, 2009 IP: 70.137.174.251 Kyo-yaki plate made by Takahashi Dohachi kiln, Awataguchi, Kyoto, mainly for export,early 20th century. The hand painted mark on the back reads, Shofutei-sei. Shofutei( Shohutei) was one of Dohachi kiln's fictitious name used by the family kiln. |
