Hello,

I am a sculpture student at Seton Hill University. This sculpture is part of a pair with the same seal.

I would be grateful to anyone that could help me to translate the seal.

せいや製　-　Seiya-sei - Made by Seiya

Seiya (Genryûsai Seiya) is the name of a famous sculptor from the Meiji era. However, he used the 誠谷作　Seiya-saku (Made by Seiya) marking. せいや (Seiya) is the syllabic transcription of 誠谷　 (Seiya). I don't know if it's the same Seiya or not.
