Subject:Looking For Possible Age & Location

This is hand made of several materials. There is cloth (possibly silk), ink, pencil, paper and human hair for the beard. It looks nicely done and by the back of the frame it appears that it may have some age.
Does anyone have any knowledge or opinions when and where this would have been made?

One thought that came to mind is " mourning memorial " There is hair in broaches " mourning jewelry " and checking online for Chinese mourning I found where it says "Traditionally, white clothing is symbolic of the dead".

As mentioned just a thought....more thoughts welcome.
