I probably shouldn't like this Painting but I do!
Kind of Grows on you so I was hoping I can get some Help in Translating the Calligraphy and Seal Mark. You never know! Some of this Impressionistic kind of Chinese Paintings could be from a Well known Artist! Thank You very much for your Time and Efforts! Sincerely, Gary K.

Liu Zhensheng 劉振聲 1952-
A well-known calligrapher and painter in Beijing.
Graduated from the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting. Presently serves as Director of Chinese Academy of Calligraphy. Most of his works are collected by domestic and foreign museums and celebrities.
I could check his signature and seal print on the Chinese net.

I. Nagy! Thank You very Much! Yes if it is not an inconvenience! Would truly love to know if it is this well known Artist or a Forgery. Maybe a Home Run on this Piece. I found it at a Thrift Store and bought it after another Art Collector was looking at it and put it back on the wall. You are the Best and then theres the rest! Humbly Yours Truly, Gary Knudtzon

Dear Gery,
As long as you don't buy the picture from the artist himself, you cannot be sure about it. I hardly think that collectors, if they are not Chinese, can read the inscriptions and seals - they simply buy the pictures according to their taste and vallet.
I've looked after the works of Liu on the Chinese language net - they are calibrated to a relatively low level. For example a calligraphy from him on a fan sells only for 300 RMB on the
