Posted By: Steve Gridley Wed, Jan 27, 2021 IP: 96.244.150.12

I'm looking for translations of the writing inside these tea cups and also if they are Yixing and of what period. Size: 5.3cm tall; 9.7cm diameter across the top.

Translations,

Left side,
二月江南花満枝
In February in Jingnan the branches are full of flowers

Right side,
十歳題詩走馬成
The ten-year-old Ti started to write a (farewell) poem
(Somewhat rewritten citation from a poem by the Tang Dynasty poet Li Shangyin (813-858))

With regards,
I.Nagy

Thank you again Mr. Nagy! Knowing the translation of the artists written words is wonderful and truly completes the item.
