Subject:I would like some comments on these small vases
Posted By: Arun Tue, Jan 26, 2021 IP: 47.205.110.144

I bought these cheap. Looked interesting with the the crackles pattern. The "made in China" stamp means it is modern day, likely. Comments appreciated. Question is any porcelain piece with "made in xyz" a no go in general? Thanks.

All fairly recent transfer-decorated wares of the type sold by Asian variety import chains in the West.

Thanks Bill, these look pretty cool actually, agreed they are not of any real value, guessed this when I bought them. $6 usD each, so will not change my lifestyle. LOL. Expert confirmation form guys like you is great. Will donate to Goodwill. Educational as always.

The "MADE IN CHINA" indicates that these were made after 1921. Maybe someone else will know just how long after 1921.
