Subject:Help with old Edo? lacquer box translation
Posted By: Martin V. Thu, Dec 10, 2020 IP: 2a01:cb05:8886:f400:

Hi,

I have this old Japanese lacquer dish or cup. It came in an old Tomobako. I was told it was late Edo.

My Kanji isn't great but I thought that I could make out something about the second year of a reign?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
