Subject:Chinese Guanyin

This Chinese Guanyin is carved jade alabaster and 32 cm long. With a sign on the bottom. How old or new do you think it is ? Kan you read the sign ?

Alabaster Jade, , which one is it, as it can't be both.

In my opinion your figure that you are looking at buying is neither alabaster or jade.
It's a modern depiction made from Soapstone/other and probably done with a 3D printer.
These types of so-called antique carvings have been appearing on the market over the last few years. They look great but have little value.

I can tell you that it is a modern piece, keep your money for something simpler.
