Subject:Bronze Globular Vase - Origin and Age ?

Can anyone suggest the possible origin and age of this bronze globular vase or pot ?

It measures 21cm (8") at it's widest point, and 7cm (3") at the neck.
Some of the casting appears to be quite crude, especially at the base.
Unfortunately, I have little experience of bronzes, but assumed the vase to be Asian and possibly old.

Any help would be very much appreciated !!!!!

Correction ! The vase is, I believe, made of cast iron, not of bronze as originally stated !

This vase is Chinese.
