Subject:Pair of Japanese teacups with saucers
Posted By: Elena Sat, Oct 17, 2020 IP: 173.177.137.13

These two teacups with saucers are very delicate, very thin, very beautiful. It is a great pleasure to use them. Can somebody suggest who manufactured them, when and for what occasion? I will post more pictures once my post appears on the message board.

Elena,
It's hard to read, but I think the marks on the cups reads "made in Japan", which usually means that they are not made before 1921. I think 1930's.
Since there are no signatures of makers, there is nothing more to tell except that is most likely Kutani ware.
Regards,
Martin.
