I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to help me translate this text on the lid of an old Japanese Suzuribako please?

大坂府立梅田高等女学校　-　Ǒsaka-furitsu Umeda Kōtō
Jogakkō　-　Ǒsaka Prefectural Girls' Senior High School

In 1947 the school was coeducated , renamed and moved to a new place. New name: Ǒsaka Prefectural Otemae Senior High School.
