Subject:Japanese Satsuma?
Posted By: Ashley Spencer Thu, Oct 08, 2020 IP: 89.242.138.128

Need some experts advice here.

I am looking through my loft and stumbled into my old collection of vases from a decade back. I vividly remember being told Satsuma at estate sale.

Can anyone opine on signature and age it might be from. It was converted into lamp and has very old wood on the top.

It is fairly large and heavy and has lot of pictures on it on all sides.

It is Satsuma,
金光山 - Gonkōzan

Produced during the Meiji era for export.

With regards,
I.Nagy
