Subject:Bottle Vase - Age, please !

Hello !
I recently acquired a 'ge-type' crackle glazed stoneware vase, circa 20cm in height.
On the base is what seems to be a painted reference number - possibly a collector's catalogue number (?) or maybe just a retailer's stock number. The remnants of a hand-written label is also attached to the base.
Are there any experts out there who might be kind enough to give their opinions on this vase, and in particular regarding it's age ?
If it does turn out to be modern, I'll just have to write off my €12 outlay to experience !
