Subject:Liu Yucen's ceramics painting
Posted By: Tracy Thu, Sep 10, 2020 IP: 72.69.179.33

I got this 4 standing panels ceramics painting a while ago from a Chinatown store. I am wondering whether this is the real painting of artist Liu Yucen.

Unfortunately your plaques are not by Liu Yucen (1904-1969).
I am unable to clearly see the plaques themselves close-up but the depictions are stiff.
The inscription (style and angle) is not correct for this artist.
Still they look pretty for what they are.

梅花竹里無人見
一夜吹香過石橋

The plum blossoms are hidden among the bamboos
no one can see them
The fragrance of flowers are blown to the stone bridge during the night
In the Year of Fire-Rat (1936) by Liu Yucen in Zhushan

Otherwise, I share Mark's opinion.
