Posted By: John A Thu, Aug 27, 2020 IP: 2607:fb90:f656:1:11c

Hi was wondering the maker and age on this larger statue size is about 12.5" or just over a foot. Any help is appreciated

Hi,

I'm just going to answer here for all of your pieces, okay?

This isn't technically a netsuke but rather an okimono (literally translates to "decorative object")

I'd date these as being first half of the 20th century. They were made for tourists. A few might even be Chinese as opposed to Japanese.

Nice pieces and with some age, if not antique then fast approaching it. Although what many would call "Netsuke Like Objects".
