Purchased from a Chinese antique seller as Chinese, this beautifully hand shaped bowl has a knotty golden orange color, w/ some spalting, Raised on a high rounded foot rim, sealed in pure tung oil. Hoping to learn more about the possible wood type and how the bowl was carved by the "flower petal" like tool mark at the base of the interior.
