This is a washi (Japanese paper) collage depicting the famous "tsukubai" or washbasin at the entrance of the Ryōanji Temple in Kyōto, donated by Tokugawa Mitsukuni.The characters written on its surface with the conbination 口 kuchi - the rectangular opening in the center - gives the following sentence.
吾唯知足 - Ware tada taru wo shiru - I am content with what I am (have)
Inscription on the paper bag.
つくばい - Tsukubai - Washbasin

嵐 - Arashi
Arashino Shusei 嵐野秀声
Collage artist from Kyoto. I can't find relevant biographical data. Probably 1960-70s.
