I would like to have your help with this rice bowl without signature on the base.
Is it Chinese or Japanese? Can you translate the script?

Looks to be Chinese, fairly basic transfer ware made for the domestic market in my opinion. Circa 1930s to mid-century. The characters read from the right as '美人如玉' (Mei ren ru yu), which in the context of the two women, means 'Jade-like Beauties.
