After posting some Japanese ivory carvings,
I thought there may be some interest in similar carvings ,probably made in Dieppe,in France,
that I have.

A beautiful carving displaying master craftsmanship imo. Looks European and probably 19th century.

Many thanks for you comments,European ivory a bit less common,than Asia ivory.I enjoy having examples of both styles.
