Xuande (宣德), the imperial reign name of the fifth Ming emperor, Zhu Zhanji 朱瞻基 (1398-1435 - reign period given as 1426-1436). However, your censer isn't of the Xuande reign, because the 'de' character has a horizontal stroke that isn't present in marks of the period. Compare 徳 & 德, with the first being the correct form for a real mark (and the variant used to this day in Japan). It's difficult to say how old your censer might be, but it looks to have more dirt than wear from use.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Mark reads,
宣徳 - Xuande
Xuande (title of reign 1426-1435) of Zhu Zhanji,5th emperor of the Ming Dynasty, called posthumously Ming Xuanzong
Needless to say it's an apocryphal mark !
