Your jar is a transfer-decorated product of a type that was made by Hong Kong and Macao ornamentation workshops during the late 20th century and subsequently. The decorative details and mark usually are applied by rubber stamp or other transfer method, sometimes with color washes added by hand. Such decoration is identifiable by repetitive pattern elements.

Best regards,

Bill H.
