Subject:Dragon Plate (Japanese?) - Mark Identification

Hello,

Can anyone help with the identification of the mark (possibly inverted on the photo) on this dragon plate ?

Also, any ideas about date of manufacture ?

The mark reads: Kutani 九谷.
ALthough this plate does not have the typical Kutani ware colors. The other odd thing is that the dragon has 4 claws like Chinese dragons. Japanese dragons normally have 3 claws.
I can't tell you about date.
