I can't seem to find any reference to this artist (Kedomi) or Hana tomi?

Do you have any information on this artist?

Dear David,
In general, data available on netsuke artists are very scarce on the net. The best source-book to identify netsuke artists is "The Signature Book of Netsuke, Inro and Okiime Artists in Photographs" by
Lazarnick. Price $450 - Sorry, but I can't afford it.

What is the material? From here, it looks like it might be resin. Can you show us a clear closeup of the base?
