Trying to figure out what is the eta and and what’s the meaning of the Chinese words .

As of the short inscriptions on both side of the blade just over the grip are not clear enough to read them.
The main long inscription(s).
御賜上方寶劔
Sword given by the emperor (the bearer of which is invested with discretionary powers) - symbol of delegated power.
The imprints of the two four-character each stamps
under the long inscription are not good enough to read,too.
