Hello Forum,
Could anyone translate the mark on the base of this Yixing pottery vase?
Thanks in advance

The seals are partly obscured. the first says 中國宜興 China, YiXing. The second has only two readable characters 製陶 manufactured and kiln.

The vase, which apparently is fairly new, has a readable mark of "China Yixing" (Zhong-guo Yi-xing - 中国宜兴) and a partial mark of 'Made Pottery' (Zhi tao - 制陶), written in simplified characters introduced in China after 1949.

Best regards,

Bill H.
