The mark reads: Gyozan (Gyouzan) 暁山.

This mark is by the (Okada) Gyozan Kyoto pottery, a family pottery. Date: first decades of the 1900's.

Regards,
Martin.

Thanks Martin
Very kind as always.
Do you know if this type of ceramic was intended for export or the internal market?

Guiseppe,
I found the following text on the internet:

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Gyozan studio began to export the reproductions of Ninsei, Kenzan and other original Kyo-Satsuma ware under the name of Gyozan to the USA and Europe.

So I think it's export ware. Just like my cup and saucer, see picture.

Regards,
Martin.
