This would be called a 'Phoenix tail' vase, and has all the earmarks of being a blue & white piece, which was made in China during the Qing dynasty Kangxi period (1662-1722) and then was 'clobbered' with polychrome and gilt decoration after being exported to Europe.
Appears to be quite a good find, but still needs to be evaluated hand-on by a professional. Christie's, Sotheby's and other major auction houses usually offer 'auction potential' appraisals free of charge via links on their websites.
