Subject:Help translating kanji on side of large stone stamp
Posted By: Mary Wed, Apr 29, 2020 IP: 2601:c6:cb80:8750:14

I got this out the other day to display it (it belonged to my Grandfather), and I just noticed that there is an engraving on the side of the stamp. It is REALLY hard to see unless you get the light at just the right angle.. hopefully someone can read it from the pictures below. I would love to know what it says.

Thanks!
Mary

They are Chinese Hanzi

柯桐緑先生惠存 - To Mr. Ke Tonglu (O Tung-luk) as souvenir
霍大偉贈 - From Huo Dawei (Fok Daai-wai)
何筱寛刻 - Carved by He Xiaokuan (Ho Siu-fun)
一九六五年二月 - February 1965
于香江 - In Xiangjiang (Honggong) - alternative name of Hong Kong

Names in parentheses are the Cantonese transliterations.

With regards,
I.Nagy
