Can I have your opinion on this plate?
Is this a chinese famille rose or a Samson chinese style plate?
Thanks

What is the second photo a picture of? Do you have any views of the reverse of the plate in question?

When flipped 180 degrees, the picture of the mark appears possibly to read down as a name in English, 'E?arrat'. Not Chinese in any event.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Thank you. I insert the complete photoof the back. The red rod is in the position where there is usually the mark. I don't know if it could be the name of some European importer.

From the information available, I don't think the plate is Chinese. The unusual spearhead border and very white paste both reinforce that opinion.

Your plate is a Chinese Famille Rose Qianlong period style, I think.
What is not convincing me is the shape of the back that it looks not typical of period.
In addition, the porcelain is too new and perfect: may be a more recent copy.
This is my personal opinion.

This plate has a pseudo asian mark that means nothing. It's not Chinese imo but rather EU product. The gilt flower is wrong. As is the general floral design to be chinese.
I also think based on your pictures that it is a product of the 20th century. Please note what appears to be black outlines of the flowers etc.
