Hello,I tried to post these a day ago but nothing showed up,if I messed something up i do apologize...I purchased these three beautiful prints together, they are in identical custom Michaels frames and am looking for any info i can get on the trio such as age, medium, artist as well as value if that is allowed as i got these with reselling in mind...i tried before to use the picture posting feature but am adding a link this time to make it easier to view...again,I hope i did not violate any forum rules here...thanks in advance for and help as these are quite beautiful pieces...happy to answer any questions also as my knowledge on these is very limited...Many thanks,Scott..pic link is below

There are two repros of Japanese woodblock prints. The woman in the kimono kneeling is by Utamaro and the standing woman in the yellow kimono is by Eishi. If, as your title states, they are repros on silk, then they have decorative value only.

hello,I am guessing they are on silk...this was according to my looks like some kind of paper as you can see small creases of sort that look like folds(if that makes any sense)...any clues on the third item?....looks like the previous owner may have spent more on framing than on the pictures themselves....I realize I am new to this forum but I cannot find my post anywhere,i only got this reply from you via email????...Many thanks,Scott | Associations | Articles | Exhibitions | Galleries |
