Subject:Antique?Oriental wooden hair tong's?

15" long possible that it has Prunus flower head's which makes me think it maybe Oriental in origins. Hopefully someone may know or have an idea of date and Origin and or use as at present we are guessing. Seems well carved each side tapers to the end's have no idea on material used??Thabnk you kindly :) Daniel Bradbury
