Subject:Request help in translating signature on this print

Greetings!
I would appreciate any help in translating the writing on this print. I think this is Chinese but I'm not sure. Thank you!

It is Chinese. Inscription in my rough translation;
上苑繁英鮮錦豔
重林香實淡霞紅
In the Shangyuan Garden the numerous flowers are fresh and gaudy
The still forest gives off its fragrance, the rosy clouds are thin

This is a known picture titled "Apricot(s)" from the "Manual of Mustard Seed Garden" a printed manual of Chinese painting compiled during the early-Qing Dynasty.

With regards,
I.Nagy
