The right side of both marks reads: Satsuma 薩广 Kinkoku 錦谷, with the short version of "ma" 摩 in Satsuma.

Kinkoku might be a pottery studio.

The left part of the complete golden marking reads: Kumamoto 隈元 Sei 製 (made by Kumamoto).

The Kanji underneath the golden characters is in my opinion: Kotobuki 壽 (or Ju in Sino-Japanese reading) and a 2nd Kanji that is too vague for me to recognize.

It's strange that the marking in black is overwritten with the gold characters. I have no other explanation than that the blank plates had the black mark before being decorated.

Date: around 1900-1920.
Another Kumamoto mark is added to this post.
Regards,
Martin.

I read the two characters underneath the golden marking;
壽勝 - Toshikatsu, Sumikatsu, Hisakatsu, Harukatsu Hisashō or Jushō

With regards,
I.Nagy
