Subject:Gilt Bronze (Modernist?) Vase - Help with Mark Please
Posted By: Nathan Fri, Feb 21, 2020 IP: 109.145.13.166

Hello All,
I have a spent what seems like days trying to find out more information on a vase I have. It is gilt bronze and stands about 12 inches high. It feels like quality and has a good proportion. There is a mark to the base which I cannot read or find online. Can anyone help me at all with more informtion on the vase or maker - I am not even sure if it is Chinese, Japanese or Korean or what date it would be. Thank you for taking the time to read this and look at the pictures. Nathan

I read the marking,
紹英 - Shōei (Japanese) - Shaoying (Chinese) -
Soyeong (Korean)
I couldn't find a relevant entry on the net in any of the above languages.

With regards,
I.Nagy
