Subject:Possible Last Emperor related art?
Posted By: ed Sat, Feb 01, 2020 IP: 76.254.59.243

ni hao,

This painting I clearly remember my mother said "Last Emperor" but not sure if brother or some relative. Stories elsewhere indicate many members of Aisin-Gioro became artists.

In the top stamp, I recognize the middle character (looks like a person) from the official Aisin-Gioro style on Wikipedia

Thank you for your time
shir shir ni!

Dear Mr Nagy,
Thanks so much. Further research show Chang Dai-Chien painted together with Lin Qingni. Already identified 3 Chang Dai-Chien. Looks like thats what my grandfather was focused on.
Mom has two more ancients, will get photos. Not sure why she said "last emperor" but Chang Dai-Chien did do paintings with the cousin "Pu Ru"
