Signature and seals of the painter (right side),
松花 - Shōka (Matsuhana)
Upper seal,
春印 - Shun-in (Spring-seal) Pseudonym ?
The inscription is a seven characters per line Sino-Japanese poem. Here is my reading and rough translation;
家住江和碧水干
桑麻快事光心飛
手成不而嵐山氣
志在春慮夢快容
慮下落夢字*
Having a house at the river and clean waters
Talking about the growth of mulberries and hemp
would be a relax to my flying hearth
The place where these things exist is the Arashiyama*
When the spring is in its full splendor in my dreams
* Arashiyama: Name of a mountain in the Western outskirts of Kyoto
* This is a interlineation of text about the missed(夢) dream character from the last line.
Signature,
石芸若 - Sekigei-nyaku or Sekigei-waka or
Sekiun-nyaku or Sekiun-waka
Seal,
石芸 - Sekigei or Sekiun
I could not find neither calligrapher nor painter with the above names. Probably, they could have been other literati e.g. tea-masters, poets, Confucian scholars etc.
With regards,
I.Nagy
