Subject:Identifying a Japanese 6-panel screen (Kano school, c. 1660?)
Posted By: George Pollard Sun, Jan 05, 2020 IP: 2406:e002:5b11:900:2

Hi,

I have a book that has this panel on the front cover, and I'm trying to figure out the name of the work/artist. The book identifies it as "Leisure Time in Kyoto", 'detail from a six-fold screen painted by a member of the Kano school c. 1660'.

Thank you!

Answering my own post as I found the answer.

The work is ‘邸前遊楽図屏風’, I located it on the linked page.
