Subject:Help with translation on painting/print
Posted By: john Fri, Dec 13, 2019 IP: 2601:1c0:5c03:810:48

Wasn't sure what this was about because the original painting should be by Takeshi Hayashi. I believe this is a print but has a bunch of characters which I am hoping someone can translate and also has a label with copyright but they read "Shigeru Hayashi" who I could not find info on Any help is appreciated.

Inscription on the back,
贈呈 - With the compliments of
富士銀行麹町支店 - Fuji Bank, Kōjimachi Branch
支店長 廣田保之 - Branch Manager, Hirota Yasuyuki

Inscription on the label,
赤富士 - Aka-Fuji - Red Mt. Fuji
林武 作 - Painted by Hayashi Takeshi
Seal,

Shigeru Hayashi, the copyright holder could be the descendant of the artist.

Hayashi Takeshi,1896-1975
Western (Yōga) style Japanese painter.
His Red- and Rose-Fuji paintings of his later years were popular on the market.

Thank you this is much appreciated. So if I got this right this is a copy or print of one of his paintings?

Also it seems to have a thicker type paint that is visible through the frame. I am confused if it was meant to be given to customers of a bank and mass produced or as a gift to a specific branch and done by artist. Sorry for the confusion and any insight is appreciated.
