Subject:Chinese porcelain buffalo with laozi, is this kangxi period?
Posted By: Stefanie Riedel Tue, Dec 10, 2019 IP: 2003:cf:ff41:ee00:49

I have a new porcelain figural item.

The measurements are 17cm maximum height, rest is proportional.

It shows Laozi sitting on a buffalo.
The colors are like the buddhistic.
Is has a tiny lustre in the clear glaze, only visible in sunlight.
It comes from Spain.
I have found a similar one, the only one, but the quality is not that good.
And there is a buffalo with a boy seen on google, from the metropolitan museum, which is more closer to it.
But that does not have to say it is also kangxi period.

Maybe someone could give me some help? I can add other informations if needed, e.g. pictures.

Thank you very much in advance!
and many greetings
