Subject:Asian Pottery figure

Was wondering thoughts on age and origin of this pottery figure. He seems to have been repaired along the way and his feet did not make it. Any info is appreciated.

I don't really collect such things but I have a suspicion that your figure may be pre-Columbian Central American, perhaps Mayan. I've put a link below to a recently auctioned example of a Mayan figure, circa 550-950 AD. Height: 24 cm. Sold for: €25,000 on 9 April 2019 at Christie’s in Paris. I've embedded it and copied it here too in case you want to paste it in your browser.

Best regards,

Bill H.
