Subject:Help with Chinese brush pot

Thank you in advance for taking a look at this. I think this is a Chinese brush pot (scroll pot?). It is about 11" tall and 5" in diameter. There are three men depicted - two are holding what looks like a green apple? The third has an upraised flower? I have no idea what the symbolism is? There is a red block print on the bottom that is not all there and some other characters above the men. Any help would greatly appreciated as to the age and what the marking mean. Thanks again!
