Subject:About two blue and white porcelain plates, from Japan and from China

Hello,
I am writing you about two blue and white porcelain plates I have: the first one, with three figures and a painted mark on the back, I think is from Japan; the second one, with a building on a lake and no marks on the back, I think is from China, maybe for export purpose.
Is it so, am I right? And do you know the factories?
