I need help with this painting. It was given to me and I know nothing about it. Help!

I read the signature, - if I am right.
宗悅作　-　Made by Sōetsu
Seal is illegible

With this name I could find only one painter from the early 17c.
Oze Sōetsu 小瀬宗悅　Disciple of Kanō　Soyu 狩野祖酉, active in the 1610-20s
Without signature or seal sample I can't say anytnhing. It's difficult to determine the age of a painting from the screen only.

Thank you so much. All I knew about it was it was brought back from Japan in the 60's-70's while the original owner was stationed there in the Air Force.
