Subject:Chinese Teapot No 3 (brown)
Posted By: Beege Tue, Jul 23, 2019 IP: 2a02:c7d:2a2d:7500:9

Hallo all.
Can you please help identify/translate the calligraphy on this minature teapot, so that I can identify the maker and therefore the age?
There is also a mark inside the lid which is repeated on the base of the handle.
It is 1ocm wide and 6cm tall.
Thank you.

中國宜興 - China, YiXing. YiXing is a famous area in China for making teapots.

The small mark under the lid is too indistinct, but I happen to recognise the second character - Ping 萍。which is probably part of the maker's name

Thank you Mikeoz, much appreciated.
I've added a couple of (hopefully) clearer images from inside the teapot lid. Do these help? How do I date the teapot?
Are my other two teapots of the same era/origins (Yixing)
Again, my thanks.
Jack
