Subject:Chinese painting
Posted By: Hee Woo Jung Fri, Jul 05, 2019 IP: 175.223.18.92

Hi, I have this painting and I would like to know what it says in the painting.

First, I want to know who painted this.
Second, I am wondering what it says in Chinese in the painting.

I will appreciate any help with this painting.

Thank you!

Here is my reading and rough translation of the inscriptions without attempting to be comprehensive.
青峯嶔側倚属霄峰下孤亭
對寂寞鐡騎紅塵倶不到醉
余覓句度平揚
Lonely pavilion beneath the steep blue mountains and next to the towering clouds
In this quietness the throng of calvary and the world of humans will not get intoxicated together
While looking for a telling line to level up
(this inscription)
Colophon reads,
甲寅秋七月 墨井 呉歴
Year of Wood-Tiger (1674) Autumn Month of July
Mojing Wu Li

Wu Li 呉歴 1632-1718
Qing dynasty literati painter, calligrapher and poet
Mojing "Inkwell" was his sobriquet

With regards,
I.Nagy
